A lagoon is a part of the sea that has been cut off from it and formed a reservoir of water on the coast. It is connected to the sea only by a thin strip of water.

Croatia’s most famous lagoon is located on the island of Drvenik Veliki. The location is very relaxing. It offers an excellent opportunity for snorkelling thanks to the shallow and crystal clear waters.
